This is a part of the "Petrusbrunnen" ("Peter Fountain") on the "Hauptmarkt" ("Main Market") in Trier, created in 1595. It is named after the patron saint of Trier, Saint Peter, and depicts virtues and vices. The woman on the right is Justitia (Lady Justice) with sword and scale, symbolizing Justice, while the woman on the left is Sapientia with a snake, standing for Wisdom.
