In larger German cities, one can often find street performers dressed and painted like statues, motionless and with a serious expression on their faces. When you give them money, they will move in a grateful manner like salute, bow or smile at you :D Is that common in other countries as well?

This one was quite a jolly fellow who went beyond that. He interacted with the people, humorously mimicking spectators and pranking passer-bys who did not realize that he was an actual human :giggle: Furthermore, he had a sign on the ground that said "Zeit zu verkaufen soviel Sie wollen! Nur 1 Euro für Kinder u. Senioren die Hälfte. Der Rechtsweg ist ausgeschlossen, kein Umtausch" which translates to "Selling time, as much as you want! Just 1 Euro, for children and and senior citizens half the price. Exempt from legal procedures, nonreturnable."

We are standing at the crossing Simeonstraße ("Simeon Street") and Glockenstraße ("Bell Street") in Trier, looking down the Glockenstraße . Here is our position on Bing Maps: [link]
