Literature Text

Long time ago a Stranger came
A noble Gift to grant
That faithful Day I bonded with
My first of Llama Friends.

Hark, I herald Tidings glad
Companions have been sent
And nevermore will You be lone
With Llamas as Your Friends.

Plushies sewn and Paintings drawn,
See just what they chant
That nevermore will You be lone
With Llamas as Your Friends.

Remember yet when You arrived,
Still foreign and forlorn
How good it was to have a Pal
So cuddly, nice and warm.

By and by Your Flock, it grows
On Meadow, Hill and Steep
It frolicks with You in the Day
And guards You in your Sleep.

Hark, I herald Tidings glad
Companions have been sent
And nevermore will You be lone
With Llamas as Your Friends.

Plushies sewn and Paintings drawn,
See just what they chant
That nevermore will You be lone
With Llamas as Your Friends.

So if You see a Deviant new
And helping you intend
You know what will let him rejoice
A Llama as a Friend.

Hark, I herald Tidings glad
Companions have been sent
And nevermore will You be lone
With Llamas as Your Friends.

Plushies sewn and Paintings drawn,
See just what they chant
That nevermore will You be lone
With Llamas as Your Friends.

You can sing it to the tune of "Mary's Boy Child" :sing: There are many renditions of it, but my favorite version is by Jim Reeves  In fact, I listen almost exclusively to Jim Reeves songs when I am in Christmas mood :D I just wish he had sung about Llamas :giggle:

:tighthug: Thankies to everyone who supports me in the Christmas Literature Contest :#1: I am grateful for every single vote!
