This picture was taken during the "Kultursommer" 2005 in Trier. A music stage was set up in front of the Porta Nigra [link] . According to the time stamp of the photograph, Sidney Youngblood & The Bluesnight Band were on the stage at this moment. I can hardly remember, but apparently they were highly appreciated!

General Information: In 1992 the German federal state of Rheinland-Pfalz (Rhineland-Palatine) initated the "Kultursommer" ("Summer of Culture"). From 1 May to 3 October many different artists perform their acts which stand under a different motto every year. These photographs were taken in 2005 which had the motto "Kultur und Wissenschaft" ("Culture and Science").
